Developer project Terasy Červený vrch, built by Skanska, offers a total of 332 apartments in nine houses ranging from a studio apartment of 35 m2 to a 250 m2 large-area and full-floor apartment. Developer project Terasy Červený vrch is located near the Bořislavka metro station, and in close proximity to the nature reserve Divoká Šárka.
In the first of the completed buildings – the F building – there is a fitness room, a sauna and a laundry room in addition to the reception.
The basic building material for each of the Teras Červený vrch buildings is a reinforced concrete slab. The building skeleton is made of reinforced concrete columns. The outer walls are a combination of brickwork and concrete load-bearing walls and columns.
The external façades have been designed and built according to the highest European standards in terms of thermal insulation. The external facades are made of plaster. The frames of the apartment windows are made of solid wood. Window frames in common areas are made of aluminum. The roof is partially flat and partly as an atic design. The balconies and terraces – typical of the entire Red Project – are lightweight steel railings.
The internal dividing partitions are either concrete or brick blocks. The internal stairs are made of concrete structural elements. Floors are made of granite, terrazzo or ceramic materials. The modern functionalist look of the houses of the previous construction, following the excellent school of pre-war architecture in Prague 6, is a preview of the expression of housing in the last phase. The undeniable advantage of most of them will be a calming view of nature. The best of all, the owners of flats will be in the top-level buildings, where the terraces are also allocated to the dwelling units. Balconies or terraces are located near any of the apartments. The Terasy Red Mountains project includes an underground garage and the fact that the project is being studied in the smallest detail also confirms that the parking boxes are adapted to the cars of the middle and upper classes, and wheelchair spaces are also planned.
In each basement there is a warehouse (cellar) for each apartment, with an area of about 3 square meters.
In each living room there is space for the possible placement of the cloakroom and built-in wardrobes or warehouse. The apartments are designed with a washing machine and dryer, including appropriate media connections. In flats with two or more bedrooms, the kitchen can be separated by a wall and a door from the living room. The design offers an open solution. Larger apartments have a separate dressing room. The living rooms are planted with regular square proportions with access to the balcony or terrace.
Part of the project are also three to four-story villas. Each of the villas offers 7 to 10 apartments. Each floor has two apartments.
